So it looks like I'm bowling on Monday and Tuesdays now. Monday is Mixed and Tuesday is Ladies. I even get a shirt with my name on it! Woohoo! I'm on the Maxfield's Wawa Jewellers team. Yes, my team rocks. And I don't care if I'm bowling with the old people, because they rock too. lol I'm the weakest member of the team right now, so my new goal is to get an average in the 180s by the end of the season. Right now it's 142 in mixed, and 141 in ladies. So at least I'm consistent. lol

I also like pulled a muscle in my thigh sometime... because I went to slide into my throw last night and I almost keeled over. How am I supposed to bowl if I can't slide? C'mon now! My performance last night definetely suffered. 162, 139, 126. lol yeah just ignor the last one. :P

In other news: I was trying to show Jordan how to put contacts in on Saturday, and I took my out but it ripped and there was a little piece stuck in my eye. And it JUST came out this morning. I was all paranoid that I was going to have to go to the hospital to get my eye flushed or something. Wouldn't that have been embarassing! lol

I think I'm getting sick. I better not be though!! 

In other news.. I thought my headphone jack on my computer finally died yesterday... but it didn't. Thank goodness! I would be sooo lost without being able to listen to music!

Hey everybody! 

This morning I have decided to give you all some insight into my day. I'm sure you're wondering what I'm up to.. hell sometimes I even wonder what the hell I'm doing! 

4:00 am :: Rise and Shine baby to my least favorite band ever. hearing "Clocks" at 4 am gives me soo much more motivation to get up and turn off my alarm on my cell phone that doesn't even work in Wawa. haha! 

4:15 am :: Departure for work. Depending on how fast I'm walking it might take me a whole 4 or 5 minutes to get here. 

4:30 am :: Start doing actual work. That means finding my news, weird news, birthdays, weather etc for my show that morning. If I have audio clips from any interviews I've done that's also when I chop them up and enter them into the computer. 

5:30 am :: Record my news for the morning. I could read it live... but having it pre-recorded makes my life soo much easier. And why complicate things when you don't have to?! 

5:50 am :: Pee and water break. Essentials! I don't really have time to visit the loo between 6 and 9. 

7:22 am :: Yeah so I missed alot in there but in my head it's all a blur anyways. LOL. I took some qualifiers for the $1000 and the chicken, and I read today's weird news which involved a man trying to smuggle monkeys into the US in his boxers. Yeah he's not too bright. Now I'm sitting here bopping my head to some John "I'm soo fugly with long messy hair and bags under my eyes" Mayer. What happened to my pretty boy who sang sappy love songs? Now we want to change the world? Let's just stay oblivious John... I'll save you! So the phone just rang and I picked it up and nobody was there. All that effort... for WHAT?! LoL! Kidding! .

7:29:30 am :: News break time in 30 seconds. 

7:33 am :: OMG! I just looked outside and guess what I saw?! GUESS! PEOPLE! What the hayyyy! It's 

7:30!! News still going... needs my attention in a minute. The flu vaccine won't be available until mid-November FYI! lol 

7:39 am :: The birthday lines are open! And Rascal Flatts are serenading me! haha I love my job, it's like my own private party where I get to listen to music and blab all day! haha Yesterday someone was like "Hey.. you're the girl who never shuts up" and I was like hey buddy... you don't want me to start talking! Thinking he's all funny.. haha yeah... you're hilarious! I was evil, but I was tired. 

7:47 am :: Birthday club is over... NANANANANANA BATMAN!! Adam West is celebrating today... Holy Drunken Batman = BEST GAME EVER! Listening to some Hedley and I have to find my Subway "Name that tune" for today... hmmm. 

7:48 am :: Ok, the name that tune is going to be "The Look" by Roxette... aha these poor people won't guess this one! Why Roxette you ask? Because seeing the name made it insta stuck in my head. haha NANANANANA you got the LOOK! hehe 

7:52 am :: Holy Crap! Melanie is in awe that there's a guy out there who knows his tunes! He totally guessed it! Go Dubreuilville for knowing the REAL music! lol 

7:56 am :: NANANANananananNANANANananananNANANA She's got the LOooooOOook! 

8:03 am :: Oooh There's a fax coming in! How exciting! 

8:07 am :: I really dislike reading sports. I really do. Damn all the foreign names. 

8:11 am :: And it was an exciting fax! Bill Devries is running for Council. (Only Katherine will know who the hell I'm talking about) But for the rest of you the guy owns the Macs store. 

8:22 am :: Aww.. the cutest little girl just qualified for the $1000! And I'm getting hungry. It's like lunchtime for me. Haha. 

8:25 am :: Syncronicity II -- The Police... up to news time. I'm going to rock out for 5 minutes... I'll be back. :P 

8:32 am :: Random thought --> I was just sitting here looking at my reflection in the glass thinking "hmm my hair sucks right now, but it's ok because nobody will see me" What happens? Not 30 seconds later a lady walks in here with items for trading post. Talk about creeppyy! Right now I'm listening to myself talk about Lake Superior water levels... it's at its lowest level since 1926. Did you know? lol 

8:39 am :: Listening to Sour Girl by the Stone Temple Pilots... wondering not only what happened to them? Oh wait.. drug addicts and the like never mind. But really what happened to SMG? Or Sarah Michelle Gellar? But I guess if I was married to Freddie Prinze Jr. I'd never leave the house either! ;) hehe 

8:44 am :: HAHAHA! The guy who called me to tell me he was a "single man" last week just qualified for the $1000. LoL. Oh boy. 

8:48 am :: Uh oh. I need to pee. :s .

8:56 am :: I am soo relieved! You can not even imagine! :P Ok, so I have my 9 news all cued up, then I'll do all my news weathers for the day, then I'll do my morning weather for the next portion of my show. I'll also get that all sorted out too, then I'll have half a glass of water, and be back in here for 9:30 for Trading Post. I'll see you on the other side of 9:30! 

9:43 am :: Now I get to take a brain break. haha. That translates into me just sitting in my office with the lights off listening to tunes and surfing the net waiting for news to happen in this world. 

10:08 am :: I'm sitting down to do actual work now. haha. 

10:21 am :: I really like the new Nelly Furtado song "Maneater." It's wicked awesome! I've listened to it like 6 times so far. lol 

10:52 am :: In sustaining my modified bankers hours on this rainy Tuesday, (haha, I just wish I had the bank to go along with those hours) I'm going to get my news for the day done, then I have to go to Council tonight. 

In case your wondering the rest of my afternoon will probably rememble the following: (This occurs in whatever order I get around to them. Except for food. That's important especially when I have yet to eat and it's the equivalent to like my dinner time by the time I acutally get around to eating. haha) 

- Lunch - Nap - Workout - Shower - Playing on my computer and listening to music. - Council - Sleep There you have it boys and girls! A morning with me. :D Maybe we'll do it again sometime eh? :P I MISS YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!

So what's new boys and girls? How is everyone's summer going? Good I hope! 

I just watched like 4 hours of "The Hills" if that's any indication of what I'm doing for my "civic holiday."

My brothers went back to school supply shopping yesterday which is making me a bit sad knowing that I won't have to do that. Oh well. I'll just stare at my 20 000 dollar piece of paper as a reminder for why I'm not buying binders, pens, erasers, and pencil crayons. lol

Everything else is pretty much the same on my end.

Well, I can't really say I've been busy lately, but I've been enjoying myself.

Last night Crystal and I went to the Canadian War Museum. It was free night! ;) It was interesting. There's lots to see, and many interactive displays, and something about having all the memorabilia from hundreds of years worth of war is humbling.

I wanted to touch Hitler's car, bullet holes and all, and it beeped as I touched it. Apparantly it's got some sensors around it. Hehe Oops!

I recommend that if you haven't been to the War Museum, you go and take in that piece of Canadian history.

After the War Museum, Crystal and I went to see the movie, "Thank You For Smoking." It was funny shit. Especially for us communication students. Go see it and you'll know exactly what I mean. Hehehe.

-- I've finished season 2 of 24 and have moved on to season 3, my favorite season BY FAR!
-- I played frisbee the other day for the first time in like EVER!
-- I've discovered new bands: Cascada, The Fray, and Panic! At The Disco.

Well here I am at the culmination of 17 years of schooling in the attempt to make me a well-rounded, well-educated human being ready to face the world. It's going to be weird no longer having to go to school, but I look forward to the new experiences just waiting for me out there!

I just can't believe how FAST time flies. Boggles my mind every time!

My Strangelove essay is done, just needs to be edited and handed in. I might just cry when I do that, but it will probably be out of joy, and Amber will be with me to make sure I know how retarded I look! lol

When my diploma comes in the mail I'll be sure to take a picture and post it! LOL!

Just wanted to give everyone a little update. I don't have much more to say right now. I think I'm going to make a blogger site for my radiooo showww! But I have a stack of ads I have to get done first.

So here's my random thought of the day. It came upon me while I was swinging/studying in my aunt's backyard today.

I thought wouldn't it be funny if Chara walked past the fence because I know it'd be him becasue he's the only one tall enough I'd see walking by the fence. And then would I run after him in socks or put shoes on? Then would I grab a piece of paper for him to sign (for Stpeh aka Z's mistress and the future Z homewrecker aka Mrs. new Z.), or just following him until I found out where he lived OR... would I get him to sign something (there was a whole debate there about putting Steph, Stephanie, or Stephania on it.. I went with Stephania) and then follow him until i found out where he lived, all the while still determining whether or not I would have time to put shoes on and which door to go out to catch him.

Yup...as the bloggess said it best, I am a dork... and damn proud of it! :P

Well hello again blogosphere! I've been a busy little girl lately!

First of all I want to say a big thank you to everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday on Friday! I can't believe I turned 21, and to answer the lingering question of whether or not I feel old, I started feeling old on Saturday when my baby brothers turned 14!!!

My birthday party/Easter dinner was awesome! Thank you Meredith and Jesse (even though you had to cook in our kitchen it was amazing!), Kristy (I died by chocolate and loved every minute of it! :D), Stephania (you will always be Mrs. Z in my world! ;D), Amber (even though you were there by default! hehe), Crystal, Katherine, Chris, and Jason....good times all! And Danika, even though you were 2 hours late I still love you! <3! Thanks for the tart, and the flowers, they are soo pretty!

The food was amazing even though we burnt the potatos. But shh nobody noticed! And you can't have a perfect dinner, that's just not right. Too perfect! And besides, Erik pointed out that I now have a lovely burn on my arm (from saving potatos) that looks like a pot. A constant reminder!  lol. Our seating arrangements were a bit ecclectic, but hey, we were all together and we all shared in the feast of turkey, mashed potatos, toss salad, macaroni salad, sweet potatos, carrots, stuffing, and desserts and birthday cake that literally took Crystal ALL DAY to ice! But ohh so yummy! And you totally nailed the lemon icing! Just like my grandma used to make! :D

Then we hung out, played some beerpong, I did some random things that my official party photographer caught on tape which will NEVER see the light of day! ;p Hell, I even made my way around the table taking candid photographs with everyone! Well...everyone but Steph, because she was being a poop head!

So after everyone left Huff and I extended our Friday nights without borders to include the Immanuelle adventure series, then we had some drama in the parking lot which I still do not understand. Then Saturday we went to retrieve our free medium hot beverage from Timmy Ho's but they said it was expired...why? Because they're retarded. It was clearly that day. Oh well.. I guess I have a souvenir.

Other exciting things that have happened lately:

-- Amber, Crystal, and I went to the Opera to see Falstaff. It was an opera in Italian about some dude and the merry wives of windsor. Don't ask me much more than that, because I don't really know. lol

-- Oh, we also wore suits to the Opera because we could! :D

-- I came for an Easter Visit in Kanata and the Easter Bunny found me! Yay! lol We also celebrated my birthday with ribs Erik cooked on the BBQ, MMmmm BBQ!, and then my auntie surprised me with a birthday cake!


That's pretty much all for now! I'm going to be spending the next few days in Kanata visiting, and taking advantage of a big empty house and no computer to distract me. (I left it at the apartment!)So I'm going to be a social recluse until Monday afternoon. Then I'll be free of exams and all that will remain will be a Strangelove take home! Woot woot! The weather is also supposed to be amazing, so I can swing life away on the patio while fading in and out of consciousness while reading Non Verbal and memorizing EVERY word of social psych! haha!

So this morning I made Crystal an inspirational piece of art to help her get her exam done. Now I will share it with everyone else to inspire you to be happy and productive! 

OOOH! So I know you were all jealous that you didn't get to go to the Sexy Rexy and Melissa "you ain't no Kelly Clarkson hunny" concert last night like I did!

I must say a BIGGG thank you to Stephania who invited me to enjoy some idol action with her! (Look... I'm on the road to inappropriateness already... tisk tisk).

Anywhos... We had AWESOME seats.. don't you just love when things are both free and awesome? Because I sure do!

So, we went to the Civic Centre. We made our way to our seats. We were surrounded by little girls wearing "Team Rex" jerseys, and overpriced Rex Goudie t-shirts. Don't forget the really cheap but artificially signed Rex Goudie hats! I loved the signs, and amount of peppiness I was surrounded by I felt like I had time warped back to the *gasp* 1980s or something in the middle of my hayday! haha!

So overall, Rex was pretty good. Then it was Melissa's turn. She was alright. I think overall, the songs I liked best were the covers they did. LOL. Probably because I knew them.. a little Fleetwood Mac, a little Aerosmith, a LOT of lip synching ohh yaa!

Anytime Mel and I made suggestive comments about Rex and Melissa going at it backstage. <--- AGREED! Near the end I was getting a little out of control! But don't forget my favorite: GET BLOWN.... Away (from a real poster!) with Rex Goudie and Melissa O'Neil (say her last name outloud several times until you get it. Ha)

So I was talking to Katherine on MSN, and she was talking about Booster Juice... so here I was assuming she was on campus somewhere. So I pack my stuff up in SITE and make my way up to Simard where I thought she was in the rain.

So I get in here only to discover that she is in fact, not here. So I call her thinking that maybe she's played a trick on me, and she's really somewhere else on campus. I mean it's her fault for messing with my head anyways telling me to come find her... pft.

So then she tells me she's at home, and it hits me that I'm a retard. LOL.

So now I'm sitting in the little crossway between Arts and Simard watching the rain and thinking about having a nap.

Ya... so I know I'm a little late, but better late than never people!

So today Crystal and I went on an adventure, and I bought a power suit! Yes! I also bought a skirt, there must be something weird in the air to make me want to buy a skirt of all things...lol but I like it!

I finished my pop culture essay, and tomorrow I have to edit my non-verbal and then we'll call it dunzo on the papers! Oh ya! But then exams start, so I guess that's not as exciting. haha.

Side note: I want to knit in a bar like Meredith Grey. I think I'll do it in Wawa, at the Lakeview...and I'll take pictures. YES!

There's your Sunday night wrap up. Exciting I know. Sometimes I feel like a disappointing blogger because all these things happen in my world, but when it comes time to blog, I just can't get it out. Ahh welll.... maybe I'll get bored enough or procrastinate during the exam period and I'll be like the bloggess with multiple entries in a day! :O Oh my (Nanna Anderson style!) hehe

I felt the need to blog about this momentous occasion!

For the first time this year I'm using the library! It'll probably be the last time too, I think I've only actually ever used the library for something other than retrieving books like 4 or 5 times the whole time I've been a university student!

For anyone interested, the cubicle I chose to use was near HQ, 5th floor, nearest to the window, 3rd row in. LoL! I'm such a loser! (but at least I admitted that!)

I'm going to try reallly hard to get something done on my essay now.. I 2 good hours to spend on it before my next class....

Well, I've decided that since I've spent the rest of the day procrastinating, I might as well be productive and blog about everything I've done today that wasn't my homework. (And, I'm blogging before Crystal gets the satisfaction of nudging me).

I got up about 9ish when I heard Katherine and Chris yelling at the vaccuum, I think. I half droggingly made my way to Crystals room where I crashed on her bed for a bit, then we started watching some Palace (yes, I am addicted to a K-drama. Crystal is evvilll).

Then Crystal, Katherine, Chris, and I went for breakfast, well, waited for hell to freeze over at some restaurant accross from college square "market". Our waitress took forever to serve us, and then people who came in 10 minutes after us finished their meal before we even got ours. Yup.. who knew eggs were such masterpieces that needed tender loving care to throw on the grill and sop up some greasy goodness.

Anyways, we got our breakfast and I'm not going to be bitter about it, because I loved the company! :)

So, after breakfast we decided we'd go to Costco (it was my first Costco experience!)It was a bit overwhelming at first, but I ended up leaving with deodarant, crackers, 12 pairs of socks, and chocolate chips. Exciting I knoww!

Then we came home, and I was supposed to do work, but I tried to have a nap instead and that didn't work... so I gave in and did a little bit of work 289 words of introduction to be exact. lol. Then I got distracted because I had to find my syllybus to know just how long this peice of crap was supposed to be, but I couldn't find it so I had to clean my whole room... tragic I know. Then I ended up talking to my little brother on MSN...and my mommy... and then everyone else...lol

So after a while of procrastinating, I decided I'd go downstairs to get the air mattress to blow it up for Amber (who is coming on Wednesday YAY!). Then I came out to the kitchen to make a hot chocolate and katherine and I ended up re-organizing the cupboards. Super fun times there! We discovered that Crystal has a lot of dishes... so if anyone wants to have a tea party complete with cups and saucers give us a ringaloo!

Then I made like 4 batches of muffins...

*omg...I'm watching a commercial with Pamela Anderson... and omfg...she is hosting the Junos. I thought some things were sad in this world... but this commercial just topped my current list!!*

Anyways, I made lots of muffins, and now I'm going to collect my laundry so I can fold it and procrastinate some more! Yay! I've also decided that I'll have this essay done.. eventually. :D
